For those past/present/future victims of the corporate gang rape

Some wise man said the following (I don’t know who), and in my egoistic opinion it is one of the highest forms of positive thinking:

“When rape is inevitable, might as well lie back and enjoy it.”

Now, taking cue from this fantastic thought:

When working in the corporate world during the tasteless time of global financial recession, there is always a chance that the company—in an effort to keep up appearances—will find some scapegoats among their employees who can be laid off in the regular ritualistic manner of gang-raping the chosen ones from all directions till they can stand it no more, eventually getting them to quit because of shattered egos. Now, if no egos are shattered the first time around, the upper level management tell the scapegoats that it was just a warning and then get back into their chauffer driven Mercedes, wondering when the chosen ones will finally break. Of course there will be a second gang bang soon, and that’s the time the scapegoat—who has nothing to lose but rather everything to gain—can take control.

Here’s my solution to the entire problem:

When you know the stage is set for you to be gang-raped, be prepared for an orgy, carry your own Vaseline and before you leave that conference room give them money-counting bastards crabs.

  2. Wow, what a strange allusion, true all the same.

  3. Lol. I should’ve tried that for my last job.

  4. I really don’t mind if they sit this one out.
My words but a whisper, their deafness a shout.
I may make them feel but I can’t make them think.
Their sperm’s in the gutter, their love’s in the sink.
So they ride themselves over the fields,
And they make all their animal deals,
And these wise men don’t know how it feels…
To be thick as a brick.

  5. Shaaaaaaaks.. very true. So, being the chosen one has brought in the much needed excitement back into your life.. is it?

  6. @ Tracy: Of course it has. I was losing my infamous rebellious touch. Now finally I get to practice with a purpose.
